With just 150 units ever built, currently available.Named ‘Anemos’, this creation was born from the collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing.
The Valkyrie was born in 2016 from an alliance between Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies. Adrian Newey, technical director of Red Bull Racing, led its design by transferring his F1 expertise to a road-legal F1 project. Development took 5 years, from 2016 to 2021, involving partners like Cosworth for the V12 and Rimac for the hybrid system. Production began in late 2021 with 150 units intended for the road.
The project, initially named AM-RB 001, aimed to create a vehicle capable of achieving F1 performance while meeting road homologation standards. Every aspect of the Valkyrie, from its aerodynamics to its hybrid powertrain, stems directly from technologies developed in Formula 1.
The Valkyrie features a purple-tinted carbon fiber body. Its aerodynamically sculpted lines incorporate 24-carat gold leaf elements. The complete Mokume carbon pack and full PPF protection complete its appearance.
The cabin combines purple Alcantara with golden stitching. The seats, directly molded into the carbon monocoque, adopt an F1-inspired driving position. The interior design follows a minimalist approach with driver-centered controls and digital screens. The lower section exposes glossy carbon fiber, emphasizing the racing connection.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie combines a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 developed by Cosworth with an electric motor. This hybrid powertrain produces 1,160 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The V12 revs to 11,100 rpm, reaching F1-worthy speeds. The Inconel exhaust system with black outlets optimizes gas flow and engine sound.
The 7-speed sequential transmission, developed with Ricardo, transmits power to the rear wheels. The hybrid system, designed with Rimac, ensures immediate acceleration response.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and exceeds a top speed of 400 km/h. Its dry weight of 1,270 kg, combined with 1,160 horsepower, gives it a near 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. The aerodynamics generate more than 1,000 kg of downforce at high speed, ensuring optimal stability.
The British manufacturer, Aston Martin produced 150 road-legal Valkyries. Production began in late 2021 at the Gaydon factory in the United Kingdom. Each unit is customized according to owner specifications. An additional 40 units of the AMR Pro version, exclusively for track use, were also manufactured.
Joe Macari does not display this Valkyrie’s price (POA – Price On Application). According to similar listings on LuxuryPulse, the estimated price exceeds 2.7 million euros before tax, equivalent to:
